Mom's Carrot Soup

Brown 1 lb. hamburger
1/2 t. salt
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. chopped onion
Cover & simmer on low for 10 minutes in a large saucepan.
4 c. tomato juice
1 1/2 c. water
2 cans cream of celery soup
2 1/2 c. grated carrot
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/2 t. pepper
1/4 t. salt
1/8 t. ground marjorum
Boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
