Kerri’s Hard Drying Royal Frosting

1/4 cup meringue powder
½ cup water
Mix and beat to peak.
4 cups sifted powdered sugar (4 ½ cups if firmer finished icing desired)
Add to meringue and water 1 cup at a time. Beat to desired consistency. Add 3 oz. Glycerine if softer icing is desired.
