Kayla's Homemade Rootbeer

4-4 ½ gallons of water
5 lbs. Sugar
6-7 lbs. Dry ice
1 bottle Rootbeer Extract
Pound ice with a hammer to smaller chunks (so it will get slushy). Mix extract and sugar in water. Add dry ice. Set lid on loosely while brewing for about 25 minutes. Stir with stir stick. We put a plastic tub in the bottom so the ice won’t freeze up the spout. Items you will need besides ingredients:
10 gallon container gallon pitcher
plastic tub dipper
hammer paper cups
stir stick napkins or fresh wipes
